STEP 01

You send a URL

One link, and one line on what you sell. No call to book, no forms to fill in.

STEP 02

I review the site

I go through every page myself and find the three things doing the most to cost you enquiries.

STEP 03

You get a PDF

A short PDF naming the three changes to make. If you want me to make them, that's the next conversation.

What lands in your inbox

A short, specific PDF.

01 — THE THREE

The three changes to make

A prioritised shortlist of the three changes that would make the biggest difference to your enquiries — biggest win first.

02 — THE WHY

Why each one matters

For every change: what it's quietly costing you now, and the difference making it would make — in plain English.

03 — THE NEXT STEP

Done for you, if you want it

If you'd like me to make the changes, I'll tell you exactly what that involves and what it costs before anything starts.

What one looks like

An example audit.

Example auditIllustrative · not a real client
  1. 01

The phone number can't be tapped on mobile

It's baked into a header image, so on a phone there's no link to press.

Impact Someone ready to call has to copy the number out by hand, and most won't bother.

  2. 02

The homepage is slow to load on mobile

One large, uncompressed image loads before anything else can appear.

Impact Visitors face a blank screen for several seconds, and many leave before it finishes.

  3. 03

The contact form asks for too much

It opens with eight fields, before anyone has a reason to trust you with them.

Impact Most people start the form and abandon it partway through.

The real PDF is written for your site: each of the three issues, why it's happening, and what it's costing you. Fixing them is a separate step, quoted only if you decide you want it.

How I work

Plain, and to the point.

iMost website audits are designed to lead into a costly rebuild. Mine are not. I pinpoint the specific issues holding your site back, why each one happens, and what it's costing you.

iiIf you're paying for traffic that doesn't turn into enquiries, the problem is usually the website, not the ad spend. That's where I start.

iiiThe free review is how we both find out whether it's worth working together, before either of us commits anything.

ivEvery review is done by me, personally. Not outsourced, not run through a template.

Who you're dealing with

Built by a developer,
not a marketer.

I build websites, and I kept watching local businesses pour money into ads that point at sites which can't even take a phone call. Conversion Grid is my answer to that.

Every review is done by me, personally and I tell you exactly what's wrong.
